Well, so today marks the 30th anniversary of this website and honestly throughout the years that I’ve been on this site I’ve had an interesting ride, but you see the reason why I decided to make my account here was because I’ve always seeing new grounds as like the adult swim of social media mostly because of the free rein and experimentation the users are given in this site in ways that not even YouTube could ever give them but I will admit I haven’t done much with my account when I first needed mostly because I was just trying to find a way to start off, but I was also distracted by other things like YouTube Twitter and discord as well as my personal life getting in the way, but when I did start off, I wasn’t really getting as much traction as I did before hell I still don’t to this day heck I was also struggling financially, so I had to work with the art supplies that I’m given while also trying to enter in contests and opening commissions, but unfortunately, nothing worked for me so I was put off from it for a while
But after being off social media for a while, I would end up going back to making art as well as going back to an one shot comic I was gonna do after getting some enlightenment from one of my family members that actually helped me to work on it even to this day, and when I came back here, I ended up joining my first art Collab that is the Nintendo Wii art Collab and I actually had a lot of fun with it and I’ve gotten more votes than I had before with my previous projects so I decided to do more art projects, as well as joining more Collabs like before hell I even studied more how to make better art by watching tutorials by other artists and taking references from a lot of the books I’ve bought along the way and even though I’m still a novice at this I’m still working to get better at what I do and I’m honestly glad that I am because I’ve actually became more motivated than I was before to make the art that I’ve never done before and always wanted to do
